Waterfall

This waterfall flows right into the ocean.

The largest Horreos in the world!

They were built to store grain. It is up off the ground to keep it dry and keep mice out. The slats are at an angle to keep rain out. Nowadays, many people use them for storage or to dry their clothes.

Finisterre... The end of the Earth.

It is a Pilgrim tradition to burn or leave something at Finisterre.

Last night before everyone goes they're own way...

It was a special evening beginning with Don (Gail's husband) arriving, saying goodbyes to the Missouri group, saying goodbye to Marc & Brigette (who are walking to Finisterre), saying goodbye to Pat & Jamie and hanging out with the Camino gang until midnight. Good times!

I needed a splash guard sitting next to Marc...

Sunday Mass in the Cathedral...breathtaking.

Sad beginning to the morning...Right before the service began, a parishoner had a heart attack. They asked for a doctor and Gail and another American doctor went over. The American doctor began CPR. Thankfully, they were able to revive him until the Ambulance team arrived.

The Mass service began with the swinging of the botafumeiro. AMAZING!
Father Steven arrived in time to be part of the Mass service. The Irish also showed up in time!
