Leaving for home in the morning...

I've been a little melancholy today watching new groups of pilgrims reunite and congratulate one another in the main square of the Cathedral, as I did on Saturday. Those special moments come and go so quickly, and then the people you've grown close to for the last month, all go their separate ways. Although we've exchanged information and found each other on Facebook, it has been hard to say goodbye. Many are from other countries, and I will probably never see them again. I wish all of my fellow peregrinos a happy and full life, and safe travels back home.

Waterfall

This waterfall flows right into the ocean.

The largest Horreos in the world!

They were built to store grain. It is up off the ground to keep it dry and keep mice out. The slats are at an angle to keep rain out. Nowadays, many people use them for storage or to dry their clothes.

Finisterre... The end of the Earth.

It is a Pilgrim tradition to burn or leave something at Finisterre.
